Up to 4 Fiber optic ports are available on the SkyWire enterprise edition enabling even more connection options. By using SFP (Small Form Pluggable) ports, a wide variety of fiber optic technologies are supported such as:
1000base-SX: Multi-Mode Fiber with 500 meter typical maximum distance.
1000base-LX: Single-Mode Fiber with up to 20 kilometers typical maximum distance.
1000base-LH: Single-Mode Fiber with up to 70 kilometers typical maximum distance.
