Skywire routers
now provide 802.11 a/b/g wireless access for all your wireless
devices. With unparalleled transmit power and receive sensitivity, the
SkyWire will provide far greater range than most other access points
available today.
Most wireless routers and access points
typically output 30 milliwatts of RF (Radio Frequency). This greatly
limits the distance your laptop or other wireless device can be from
the router. Some of the latest wireless routers are claiming to have
extreme range capabilities and this has been accomplished by increasing
the power to 60-80 milliwatts combined with better antenna design.
The
SkyWire wireless system offers the maximum power allowed by the FCC at
600 milliwatts coupled with a high gain antenna to provide the best
possible wireless range. For maximum compatibility and to eliminate
interference, the SkyWire provides both 5.8 GHz 802.11a as well as 2.4
GHz 802.11b/g wireless access. |
